Family's grief over teen's death
The family of a 15-year-old girl whose body was found in woodland said she was a "beautiful, loved and cherished daughter and sister".
Helena Farrell's body was found at a beauty spot close to the Castle Green Hotel in Kendal, Cumbria, at around 10pm on Friday.
Cumbria Police said they are continuing to investigate Helena's death but it is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesman said: "Police can confirm that the body of a female found in woodland near to the Castle Green Hotel was 15-year-old Helena Farrell from Kendal.
"The circumstances surrounding the incident are still being investigated and it is not being treated as suspicious at this time.
"The family of Helena said in tribute, 'Helena Farrell, 15, the beautiful, loved and cherished daughter of Enda and Maria Farrell and sister of Declan Farrell died tragically on Friday night'. The family have requested privacy at this time."
The Westmorland Gazette later reported that the talented musician had featured in the newspaper in June when she gained a distinction for her grade seven cello exam and a merit in her grade six singing, both on the same day.
Friends of Helena have created a moving You Tube clip showing a montage of photographs set to music.
One friend wrote on Facebook: "Just seen the video on You Tube dedicated to Helena Farrell. So sad, what a beautiful you girl. My thoughts go out to her family at this sad time, rest in peace."
A comment below the You Tube clip said: "Everyone who has seen this video cried."
