ASHBY-BASED racer Hudson Kennaugh will be hoping to defend his British Superstock title when the 2014 championship starts next month.
The South African-born champion will once again be contesting the British Superbikes Superstock 1000 series, as well as the ACU National Endurance 1000, a series he had to pull out of last year in order to channel focus.
Kennaugh remains with the Linxcel Trik Moto Racing team, along with team-mate Mark Clark, who finished third in the ACU last year, crew chief Chris Beedon and suspension technician Tom Vickers.
In 2013, the team led the ACU and BSS championships up until the final two rounds, when scheduling conflicts meant they could not attend both meetings and prioritised the British Superstock.
Kennaugh went on to win the championship at the final round at Brands Hatch in October 2013.
The team are currently testing the 2014 bikes in Spain in preparation for the first Hottrax Motorsport Endurance Round, taking place tomorrow at Brands Hatch.
Kennaugh will be sponsored by Trik Moto, Motul, Linxcel Europe Limited, Graham Bank Racing and BMW UK Limited.
