A DESPERATE hunt has been launched to find a puppy which went missing from a home in Uxbridge Street, Burton, on Wednesday.

The owners think this female Staffordshire Bull Terrier may have rushed out of the front door when her owners went to take the bin out of the house at around 5pm.

The five-month-old pup is brindle and white, and was wearing a pink collar when she went missing.

No sightings of the dog, which has been microchipped, had been reported when the owners rang the Mail yesterday.

It is the first time she has run away from the family home, where she has left three children who are desperate for her safe return.

Anyone who sees the family pet, or knows anything about her disappearance or her whereabouts, should contact her owner Dom Palmer on 07854 019890.

The dog’s disappearance has also been reported to the police and the RSPCA in the area, but she has not been handed in.
