RANZI Sidani made light work of the tough conditions to finish an excellent 28th at the 14-mile Charnwood Hill Race which includes a gruelling 1,400ft of climbs.
Sidani clocked 1.46.01 to lead a strong Ivanhoe Runners contingent home. Charnwood Hill Race regular Stuart Douglas was next home in 61st after clocking 1.54.01.
Men’s captain Martin Yeomans continued his fine run of form to take 83rd spot in 1.59.56. Performance of the day went Andy Jeyes who was 146th overall and first male vet 60 in a time of 2.09.33,
First lady home for the club was Dawn Pearson who came a brilliant 174th overall and second vet 45 in 2.11.51. Bart Reid and Kev Wright, who were 175th and 176th respectively, finished alongside Pearson in exactly the same time.
The next group of Ivanhoe Runners also came in together. Ian Kirk (2.15.17), Tim Sturla (2.15.19) and Alan Edwards (2.15.21) were placed 189th, 190th and 191st respectively.
Andy Pawley enjoyed a strong run to finish 249th in 2.26.08, Allie Sturla, after recovering from a recent illness, was 344th in 2.50.36 to finish just ahead of Karen Edmonds (2.55.12).
Amanda Bradbury and Teresa Talbot ran together and finished 360th and 361st in times of 3.02.12 and 3.02.19 respectively,
Two Ivanhoe runners opted for the Watford Half Marathon.
Ivor Davies finished 111th in 1.25.57 while Alistair Chambers clocked 1.28.17 to come home in 168th position.
Meanwhile, The Conkers Parkrun saw new personal bests for Jason Marlow (18:46), Phil Stevenson (19:00), Becca Hallam (22:05), Katie Cotton (24:53) and Fran Sinclair (25:00).
