JIMMY Phillips is hoping he and his fellow Burton Albion midfielders can go on a bit of a scoring run between now and the end of the season.
Phillips scored his third of the season in the Brewers' 3-0 victory against Hartlepool United on Saturday, while skipper Lee Bell notched his first to add to Billy Kee's opener.
Before kick-off, the four midfielders who started the game had managed just four league goals between them - Robbie Weir has two, with Alex MacDonald also yet to get off the mark.
"It's a bit of a late run of goals but hopefully we can get a few more," said Phillips.
"Luckily we've managed to be defensively strong, which has kept us up there, but if we can add a few more goals that can push us forward.
"We can't just leave it to the strikers to get all the goals.
"We're more than capable of scoring more, as we showed today, and it's something we probably all need to add to our game."
