PEOPLE are being offered the chance to enjoy the experience of a major music festival without the massive expense at an event next month.
The Lichfield Fake Festival is set to take place on Saturday, August 16 at Beacon Park and will feature some of the UK's finest tributes to Queen, Oasis and Coldplay.
The event costs £20 and people will be able to see the three tribute bands and also five support bands. "We're delighted to be returning to Lichfield this year with an incredible line-up of music," said Lee Storey, licence holder for Lichfield Fake Festival.
"Last year was a great success for the first Fake Festival in Lichfield and this year we're coming back even bigger and better, with ticket sales already beating last year's at this moment in time.
"Offering a full day of entertainment from 12.30pm, festival-goers will be rocked by the 'best the local music scene has to offer'.
"With a Fake Festivals tent, a bar that is as long as the stage and an outside area to add to that festival vibe, Lichfield Fake Festival is set to be a winner."
Tickets will be priced at £20 per adult, £10 for 10 to 17-year-olds and £50 for a family ticket, with under-nines free.
