Could you be a feline foster parent?

Written byKerry Ashdown

A CAT RESCUE group near Stafford is seeking more foster carers to look after its feline charges before they find their forever homes.

Caring Animal Rescue (Car) is a small but dedicated group based in Hixon. Formed in 1992, they have helped thousands of unwanted pets find loving new homes in the Stafford, Lichfield and Sutton Coldfield areas.

The group operates from a house so rely on foster parents until permanent homes can be found for their feline charges.

Fostering is a potential way for animal lovers in the Stafford area to help pets in need if they unable to give a long-term commitment.

Foster parents are supplied with food, litter, and equipment and vet bills are paid for by the group too.

The only things fosterers are required to supply are love and care until the cats and kittens move on to their permanent new homes, and everyone living in the foster house should agree to the fostering.

Anyone interested in becoming a fosterer should contact 01889 270613 for moCatre information.
