SHOPPERS in Burton are being invited to take part in the world's biggest coffee morning to raise money for charity.
Marks & Spencer stores throughout the UK, including the Coopers Square store, will be fund-raising for Macmillan Cancer Support on September 26.
It is the fifth year running that the chain has held a coffee morning to support the charity. So far it has raised £2.8 million and is looking to go one step further this time around.
The event will be held in the cafe upstairs at the Burton branch, where a donation of 5p will be made for every slice of cake and coffee-based drink sold on the day.
There will also be a donation of 20p for every Victoria sponge cake sold within the shop's food hall.
