BURTON’S MP has joined forces with a town pub giant in a bid to help give jobseekers a technological boost.

Andrew Griffiths reached out to Spirit Pub Company, based in Centrum 100, after being alerted to the fact that the East Staffordshire CVS job club were in ‘desperate need’ of new equipment to help people across the area find work.

Mr Griffiths asked Spirit for support and bosses at the pub giant dug deep and have donated three computers.

The move will allow more jobseekers to access services at the CVS and help with tasks such as writing a CV.

Mr Griffiths ‘thanked’ the firm for its help and said the euipment would be put to ‘great use’ by people looking for work.
