A WEDDING reception at a North West Leicestershire school brought together six former pupils.
Christian Ashley, a former pupil of Manor House School in Ashby, married Natasha Francis on August 9.
But Mr Ashley wasn't the only former pupil attending the wedding.
Five other guests, including Mr Ashley's father Clive, and usher Charles Davis went to the school, many years ago.
The six former Manor House students happily recounted tales from their time at the school including hiding under the floorboards and many instances of being caned.
Clive Ashley attended from 1954-1957 and fondly remembered a time when fees were just £23 per year.
Mr Davis was thrilled to hear that a trophy for excellence at chess he won while a pupil is still on display.
The six chatted for quite a while and agreed traditional teaching methods were much better.
As many former pupils still live in the area, talks of a reunion came to light.
To mark the occasion all six former pupils that attended the wedding posed for a picture on the school steps.
