A CHURCH hall is hoping to raise money for its upkeep through a bank holiday tea and coffee event.

Dunstall church hall will be open from 11am to 3pm on Saturday and Monday, serving tea and coffee.

Admission costs £1.50 per person, which will include a free raffle ticket with a chance to win a £40 voucher for The Waterfront, Barton Marina.

The draw will take place at St Mary's Dunstall parochial church council meeting to be held either in September or October.

On sale on both days will be Pam's Preserves – a collection of homemade jam, chutney and marmalade

All proceeds will go towards the upkeep of the church hall.
