A MAN was taken to hospital after a crash in Burton.
Police and ambulance services were called to the scene following the collision between a Subaru and a moped yesterday.
The accident happened at about 2pm in High Street. Traffic disruption was kept to a minimum.
A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: "We've had a minor collision between a moped and a car, which occurred as a vehicle pulled out of a car park onto the street.
"The moped rider was knocked off his machine and has been taken to hospital with minor injuries for what we expect will be nothing more than a check up."
Damage to both vehicles was thought to be minor, but a tow truck was needed to remove the Subaru.
Last night, the injured man's condition was unclear.
