THE majority of patients would recommend adult and community health services in Staffordshire to their nearest and dearest, a survey has revealed.
Latest results from the Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Partnership NHS Trust’s family and friends test revealed feedback scores of 74.83 in October and 75.4 in November.
The trust’s director of nursing and quality Siobhan Heafield (pictured) said the results were a result of hard work from the trust’s staff.
She said: “The friends and family test offers an important insight into how patients feel about the services which they received whilst in our care.
“Since implementing the test we have seen consistently good results and our scores in October and November of 2013 were no different.
“It’s a testament to our staff and services that local people would recommend services provided by the trust to their friends and family members.”
The trust’s chief executive Stuart Poynor said: “Across the NHS it’s important that patients are listened too, especially during challenging times.
“The NHS friends and family test is allowing NHS organisations to listen and importantly make improvements which patients feel are necessary.”
