DERBYSHIRE County Council has announced further apprenticeship opportunities in Swadlincote.
In total, 11 positions will be made available throughout the county in a number of areas including health and social care, recycling promotions and business administration. In Swadlincote, youngsters are being invited to apply for a role in health and social care.
Cabinet member for council services, Brian Ridgway, said: "We are doing all we can to find opportunities for young people in this difficult climate. We're now looking for a further 11 apprentices. An apprenticeship offers a great way into the world of work and I'd urge all young people to take a look at what we have to offer."
Applications for each position close on September 21, with each role beginning in October and November. Further information can be found by visiting the county council website.
