MEMBERS of a debate group enjoyed a trip out as part of a reward for their efforts during the past few months.

The youngsters from William Allitt School, in Sunnyside, Newhall, have spent the last year talking about a raft of topics with a variety of guest speakers.

Their reward for their work was a trip to the Black Country Museum, organised by group leaders Janice and Ollie Pallett.

Mrs Pallett told the Mail: "We have been running the group for around six years now.

"We took about eight youngsters and they had a very good day out at the Black Country Museum."

Mr Pallett was quick to praise those who had helped the trip take place.

He said: "Everyone involved with the 4G debate group would like to thank Rich Hackett, one of the directors of Swiftsure Travel, for supporting the trip."
