A BOATING firm has held an open day over the weekend.
Aqua Narrowboats, a company specialising in luxury narrowboat hire and building bespoke narrowboats, opened the doors of its workshop from on Sundayat Mercia Marina, Findern Lane, Willington.
A spokesman for the firm told the Mail: “It was a chance to step aboard their high quality hire narrowboats to see how comfortable and well equipped they are, ideal before considering a canal holiday.
“There were plenty more activities to keep people busy when they visited such as a lovely canal walk into Willington.”
