ANOTHER motorist has become the latest victim of Burton’s notorious rising bollards.
The Audi A5 suffered minor damage to its bumper after the incident at around 11am today outside the library.
Hundreds people have fallen victim to the controversial bollards since they were installed in 2008, costing the taxpayer thousands of pounds in repairs.
It is despite changes made following a review in 2011 which deemed the bollards unsafe.
The changes included introducing improved signage on the routes leading up to the bollards, red brick raised areas were installed and posters adorned the back of buses warning motorists not to tailgate.
