FIRE crews were called out to extinguish a bin blaze that may have been started deliberately in Church Gresley.

Two fire engines from Swadlincote and Moira stations were called to the fire in a bin storage area at Carl Moult House in Regent Street at 4.35pm yesterday.

Crews extinguished the blaze within 15 minutes and no-one required any medical attention.

Neil Scott, watch manager at Swadlincote Fire Station, told the Mail the possibility of arson had not been ruled out.
