A VAN driver who died after his vehicle crashed into a lorry on the A38 at Burton has been named.
42-year-old Christopher Shaun Parrish, known as Shaun, of Coalpit Lane, Rugeley, was pronounced dead at the scene just after 2.50pm on Monday.
Emergency services were called to the southbound carriageway of the A38 between Claymills and Branston and the seven mile stretch of road was closed while recovery took place.
The lorry driver was taken to Burton's Queen's Hospital suffering from back pain.
