A SOUTH Derbyshire cookery school will be joining in the fun at a charity garden party with a demonstration by a Great British Bake Off finalist.
Seasoned Cookery School has teamed up with Catton Hall and St Giles Hospice for their annual Catton Hall Garden Party for a fun-filled day of craft stalls and family fun, and this year baking – all to raise money for a fantastic cause.
Brendan Lynch, finalist on series 3 of the Great British Bake Off will be doing three baking demonstrations in Seasoned Cookery School throughout the afternoon, in the courtyard of the Catton Hall Estate.
He will be giving his baking tips and tricks and leaving visitors inspired to bake at home.
He will also be able to answer any burning baking and culinary questions as well as signing any Great British Bake Off books.
Mr Lynch said: “I love passing my skills and knowledge onto people who love baking as much as I do and with the new series of the Great British Bake Off on the way, it was a pleasure to be asked and help to get people into the baking spirit as well as raising money for St Giles.”
The garden party will take place at Catton Hall on August 26.
Doors open at 11am and close at 4pm. Prices are £3 per ticket and £10 for a family ticket.
