HUNDREDS of vintage motorcycle will be on show as a popular event returns to Burton this weekend.

The Burton Parade will begin at 10.30am on Sunday, May 12, from the Marston’s Sports and Social Club, in Shobnall Road.

Bikes from as early as 1912 will be on show and will travel an 80 mile round trip before arriving back the club at around 2pm.

The event is organised by the Burton and District Branch of the Vintage Motor Cycle Club and now in its 31st year.

Chairman Mick Dughan said: “I am certain that all of you whether a regular or a newcomer will enjoy the day travelling the routes, which this year has been planned by Keith ‘Eddie’ Waring, we are most grateful for their time consuming effort.

“This year our coffee stop is at the The Clifford Arms Inn, Great Haywood, from 11.30am.”
