BURTON’S Salvation Army has a packed musical line up over the coming months – and will be welcoming a few television personalities.
The Uttoxeter Town Brass Band, under the musical direction of Rob Smith, will kick the events off with a visit to the Burton citadel, on Mosley Street, on Saturday, from 7pm.
The band will present a varied programme of music, and will be supported by Burton Salvation Army Songster Brigade, and Timbrels.

On Saturday, February 23, the Burton Salvation Army will be holding a ‘Brew ‘n’ Brunch’ at its hall, in Mosley Street, between 11am and 2pm.
Everybody will be welcome to grab a snack and a welcome brew along with a sit down, in good company.
The Salvation Army Band from Chalk Farm, will be visiting Burton Salvation Army over the weekend of March 16 and 17.
On Saturday, March 16 the band will be providing a programme of music, under the direction of bandmaster Michael Clack. They will also be leading the Sunday meetings on March 17, at 10am and 4pm.
The Chalk Farm Band is well known, having appeared on the Blue Peter Christmas Show for the last 38 years. They are also well travelled having presented programmes throughout Europe, Scandinavia, Japan and Australia. Tickets costs £4 are available from Keith Adnams for the Saturday programme.
