New development proves a big draw

A HOMES developer has had to open a sales office to cope with increased demand at a new development in Burton.

online newsFairgrove Homes, the East Midlandsbased family firm, is building seven executive detached new homes in Howards Way off Old Road, Branston.

MD Steve Midgley said: “It took us a while to find this fantastic spot, but this location ticks all the boxes.

“It lies south of Burton and is just half a mile from the major road network, 13 miles from Derby and 21 miles from north Birmingham.

“And, because we take pride in building individual homes packed with character, this select development features four uniquely designed houses with four, five or six bedrooms.” But Branston is more than a functional location with good access to the region’s cities.

Steve said: “Branston has a history dating back to Saxon times. Over the centuries it has flourished and became a thriving village in the 19th century.

“Today it is home to a number of recreational and leisure facilities including Branston Water Park, a 40-acre lake surrounded by woodland, wetland and wildflower meadow.

“It’s also the setting for Branston Golf and Country Club and is a great spot for walking, cycling and fishing on the River Trent.” Work on the development is well underway and the roof is about to go on the first home, built to the luxurious fivebedroom Thornsby design.

“Completion of this home is scheduled for September, and we’ve already seen a healthy amount of interest,” said Steve.

The homes, which feature en-suite bedrooms and high-spec kitchens and bathrooms, measure from 1,540 sq ft to 1,806 sq ft and are priced from £259,995 to £360,000.

Steve added: “These well-proportioned homes have been specially designed for families.

“The local primary school is about 200 metres away, and the large rooms and gardens of our house designs makes them ideal for local families.” The sales office is open from 10:30am- 5:30pm from Friday to Sunday.
