MORE than 50 people have attended an event designed to allow people in Burton to reminisce on days gone by.
East Staffordshire Borough Council put on the screening of vintage photographs taken in Burton during the 1960s and 70s as part of the Story Wells project, which was launched earlier this year.
The project aims to collect pictures from people in East Staffordshire about the Burton’s brewing heritage during the time.
Bernard Peters, the borough council’s deputy leader for service commissioning, said: “This is another council art project which celebrates Burton’s history and heritage.
“I am a proud Burtonian and I can remember the 60s and 70s well.
“The event was thoroughly enjoyed by all attendees and I am very grateful to those who took the time to attend.
“I would urge as many people as people to share historic memories with other like minded people.”
The event was held at the Brewhouse, in Union Street.
