Call for blood

BLOOD donors are being invited to give the ‘gift of life’ at one of two sessions in Burton.

The NHS Blood and Transplant service will accept donations from 1pm to 3.30pm or 4.30pm to 7.30pm on Thursday, February 28, at Burton Town Hall, in King Edward Place.

Donors able to give blood are urged to book appointments by calling 0300 123 2323 or visiting the transplant services’s website at blood.co.uk
