CUSTOMERS in Burton concerned about warranties after a camera chain sank into administration have had their nerves calmed.
Birmingham-based company BSS has moved to calm the concerns of customers who bought Sony camera at Jessops by announcing that it will continue to repair items under warranty, both now and in the future.
BSS (Birmingham Specialised Services Ltd) also called on customers with a current Sony product problem to contact them directly on 0121 789 9991 as soon as possible so that they can be updated on the progress of their repair.
Jessops went into administration earlier this month, leading to the immediate closure of all its UK stores, in Burton, in the Octagon shopping centre, as well as the loss of around 1,370 jobs. The company was forced to close after poor Christmas sales.
