YOUNGSTERS from Burton have been experiencing the thrills of altitude and the wonders of the underground by taking part in a recent Burton Venture Trust event.
The trust, a voluntary charity, prides itself on offering a whole range of outdoor activities for young people in the town and has recently given them the opportunity to try the thrill of a flight in a microlight and the experience of exploring rock formations underground.
As well as enjoying heights above the earth and the depths underground, the tust also has plenty to offer in terms of water activities and currently has more than 60 youngsters who will be enjoying canoe training throughout the summer.
