webpicA COUPLE who denied assault charges are to stand trial six trial after the alleged incident.
Salma Bashir, 21, of Princess Street, Derby, denies assaulting Ghausia Shaukat and Rosena Begum on August 11, 2012, and Shahid Bashir, 32, of the same address, denies assaulting Rosena Begum, on the same date.
They will both return to Burton Magistrates’ Court on February 20 for a case progression hearing.
They answer conditional bail not to contact Rosena Begum, Ghausia Shaukat, Parveen Akhtar, Nagina Kauser and Mansaf Dar.
