THROUGHOUT this month, the Mail’s David Broome is taking on the ‘Veganuary’ challenge – to go through the whole month of January on a vegan diet. Here, in a daily diary, he charts his progress.
WE had some rice noodles for dinner today, which were as tasty – if not tastier – than regular egg noodles, and I may well stick with them after January.
Special mention today to the people at Ocado, Vegusto and PETA, who Veggievision – the organisers of Veganuary – have arranged to supply me some vegan goodies.
Breakfast: muffin with dairy-free spread.
Lunch: homemade Moroccan lentil soup.
Tea: homemade falafel with rice noodles.
