'Devil dad' jailed for five years

‘DEVIL dad’ Terrence Eames has been jailed for five years after being convicted of 16 offences of cruelty to his children.

The 53-year-old, of Woodville Road, Hartshorne, branded a ‘Jekyll and Hyde’ character, was sentenced today at Derby Crown Court to five years for each offence, to run concurrently. He will serve half his sentence in prison.

He was also banned from working with children for life.
