THE Burton Friends of Donna Louise Hospice will be taking over two of the town’s shopping centres to raise much needed funds.

The Octagon shopping centre will have bouncy castle for children to enjoy, and Cooper’s Square will have a stand indoors, both from Thursday, with various activities, explaining more about the charity.

Derek Liddle, chairman of The Burton Friends of Donna Louise Hospice, said: “The hospice is in Trentham but sadly we are finding quite a few families from Burton need the hospice. It requires £2.4 million a year to run and we only get 15 per cent from the government so we have to raise the rest.”
