A SOUTH Derbyshire firm is set to feature in the latest series of a popular television show.
JB Kind Doors, based on the Astron Business Park, off Hearthcote Road, Swadlincote, will be a star supplier for Channel 4’s Restoration Man.
The firm, renowned in the door industry and timber trade, will feature in an episode of the show, which is set to air on Wednesday, January 15.
Bosses at the firm told the Mail of their ‘excitement’ at having been invited to be a part of the show.
Marketing manager Tina Jones said: “The restoration we have been involved in is very exciting.
“I’m not allowed to tell you what or where it is until after the screening of the show, but I can say that we supplied 14 doors from our popular contemporary Limelight range and they have really complemented the traditional nature of the property.
“The owners of the restoration project have been extremely complementary about the doors (we can tell you more after the programme), and they even said that show presenter George Clarke commented on how much he liked our doors too.
“So don’t miss Restoration Man at 8pm on Wednesday, January 15 on Channel 4, we’d love to hear what you think.”
The firm was picked due to the ‘enthusiastic’ customer comments and because it sells more than 250,000 doors each year across the country.
JB Kind Doors has been a door distributor for more than 30 years and a timber specialist for more than 140 years.
