THE Burton Albion Community Trust is inviting applicants to take part in a series of trials to play against professional teams.
The Football and Education Programme is available to boys who are set to leave secondary education in 2013.
The Football Development scheme is a two-year full-time course which allows students the prospect to study sport in a theoretical and practical aspect.
Students will train two days a week and play against other colleges and professional teams on Wednesday afternoons, with students permitted to play for other local clubs on a weekend.
To be eligible for the programme, students must be predicted five grade A to C GCSEs including Maths and English. Players also need to be of county standard. Application forms can be downloaded by visiting www.burtonalbionfc.co.uk/club/community/
