Four car collision on A38 slip road


STAFFORDSHIRE Police were called to a collision involving four vehicles during rush hour this morning.

The incident took place at 7.40am on the slip road of the A38 at Branston.

Nobody was seriously injured as a result of the collision which caused delays on the northbound carriageway.

A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: “Four vehicles were involved in a road traffic collision. No injuries were sustained. There was a broken down vehicle in the area at the time which was not connected to the incident.”

One lane of the slip road was cordoned off while police dealt with the incident.

The road was cleared by 8.30am.
