A CARE home has marked 20 years in existence with a fun-filled garden party.
Rider House, in Stapenhill Road, Stapenhill, open its gardens for day of fun activities for children and residents.
The home provided a birthday cake to mark the occasion and there was also plenty of stalls, a tombola and a barbecue.
Marilyn Gell, from Rider House, said: “It went really well and the weather was kind to use.
“It was held to celebrate our 20 years which is quite an achievement in this day and age.
“There was lots of entertainment for the children, with a clown, apple bobbing and the fire brigade were there as well.
“The residents loved it as well and loved having the children there. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.”
