DATES of the next safer neighbourhood and area forum meetings in South Derbyshire have been announced.
The neighbourhood meetings deal with policing matters while the forums offer an insight into the work of South Derbyshire District Council and Derbyshire County Council.
The neighbourhood meetings, which start at 6.15pm, and the forums, which follow at 7.30pm, will be held at:
*Newhall Area Forum at Rowland Memorial Hall, in Midway, on Tuesday;
*Etwall Area Forum at Egginton Memorial Hall on Wednesday;
*Melbourne Area Forum at Melbourne Assembly Rooms on Monday, February 4;
*Swadlincote Area Forum at St George’s and St Mary’s Parish Rooms, in Church Gresley, on Tuesday, February 5;
*Linton Area Forum at Netherseal Village Hall on Wednesday, February 6;
*Repton Area Forum at Findern Village Hall on Thursday, February 14.
District council leader Bob Wheeler said: “We hope everyone who has a matter they would like to raise will attend.”
