A CONTROVERSIAL high speed rail line will one of the subjects on the agenda at Measham Parish Council.
The meeting will be held at The Boardroom, in Bosworth Road, on Thursday, from 7pm.
The parish council will provide any updates on any consultation received for HS2 scheme. Fears have already been made known that communities along the routes, such as Measham, and Packington would suffer from the noise of high-speed trains, as part of plans to carry 225mph passenger trains between the West Midlands and Leeds.
It will also consider whether 38 councillors is the right number for North West Leicestershire District Council to take decisions effectively, as well as updates on the recent consultation event on The Future of Library and Museum Services. It will also discuss grit bin requests for Wilkes Avenue and Dysons Close.
