A EIGHT-YEAR-OLD is looking for a new home after being found tied up by a chain in a garden.
Staffordshire Bull Terrier Hobo came to Stretton’s RSPCA centre, in Hillfield Lane, via an inspector.
Hobo was rescued following a complaint made to inspectors bout his owner’s home and was signed over to the animal charity by his owner.
Jill Astle, cattery supervisor at Stretton, said: “He has been with us since May 15. He wasn’t in a poor condition when he was found, it was more the mental cruelty of being tied down.
“He is very friendly as he has been on his own so long that he craves attention.
“We weren’t sure how he was going to be but he is a favourite with one of our dog walkers.
“He is not bad around other dogs but it might be better than he is the only dog in the house.”
German shepherd, Lizzy, who was featured in the Mail last week after being in three different RSPCA shelters, has now found a home.
