KATHERINE Sinfield’s story will form of part of Blood Cancer Awareness Month.
The Anthony Nolan Trust is working with Bright Red, Cure Leukaemia, Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, and Myeloma UK to come together to ensure that every blood cancer patient in the country receives the best possible information, treatment and care, in order to give them the greatest chance of survival.
Mrs Sinfield, who is currently battling leukaemia is one of nearly 30,000 people this year will be given the devastating news that they have blood cancer.
People are being urged to back the campaign and sign up to be a blood or bone marrow donor.
