PEOPLE from Burton and South Derbyshire are being urged to take on one of the UK’s toughest challenges to help change the lives of disabled children.
Caudwell Children is appealing for runners to tackle the 2013 Mow Cop Killer Mile, a brief but brutal challenge taking place on Thursday, May 9 which will see them endure a mile long run on a 25 per cent gradient, climbing one of the steepest roads in the county.
Funds raised by those who take up the challenge in aid of Caudwell Children will be used to provide emotional and practical support to disabled children and their families.
Entry for the 2013 Mow Cop Killer Mile costs £5 for adults and £3 for school years; they will also receive a free goodie bag and join the charity’s Killer Mile Hall of Fame.
