HIGH-SPEED communications—is this amyth? Twice recently this seems to be the case.
I was asked for three documents, which I scanned and sent via email, but the reply that I got back was: ‘I need them as hard copies’, which means by post (not quite as fast).
Secondly, I had to go to Queen’s Hospital, in Burton, with my wife, for an X-ray on a Friday.
I phoned the doctors in Tutbury (five miles away from the hospital) 14 days later, only to be told the results had not come back yet and to phone next week, but warned the surgery was closed on Mondays.
Alright—out of the 14 days seven were either weekends or Bank Holidays, but then to wait another three days (at least) is a joke.
When you do finally get to see the doctor for the results, it’s on their computer.
