Thanks for supporting my book on Stretton

MY thanks to all who bought my book, ‘Stretton Remembered’, many of whom have told me how much they are enjoying it.

Secondly, my apologies to the elderly gentleman in the wheelchair who wanted to see me at my book signing.

By the time the long queue had reduced, he had gone home.

Also, my apologies to the couple who spoke to me in the bank, who I had to cut short as I had arranged to catch a bus — which went past as we were talking.

Finally, to all those who have not been able to buy a copy, the book is being reprinted and should shortly be obtainable from Stretton Post Office, Stretton Joinery, or by ringing me on 01283 543736.
