What will happen to Elizabeth Court site?

THE Anchor Trust wants to put often frail and elderly people through untold stress and strain by effectively kicking the residents of Elizabeth Court out onto the streets, albeit with a £4,500 cash sweetener, claiming that the building would cost too much to renovate.

So having paid them off, what, then, does Anchor plan to do with the site? Sell it off to a big builder for a much more lucrative private housing development? Who knows, but whatever happened to respect for our elders? The Equaliser Stapenhill
