WITH on-line shopping booming, two Rolleston businesswomen have launched a new venture in time to cash in on the Christmas rush.
With UK on-line retailers now having a 10.5 percent share of the market, Anna Brittan and Nicky Reddin have seized the opportunity to make the on-line shopping experience even more attractive.
The founders of Love It and More offer cosumers eccentric British-inspired gifts.
Now they are offering a personal shopper service via their new website, which they hope will make internet shopping a whole lot better.
The new service will give busy people the chance to buy hand-picked gifts for their loved ones from the comfort of their armchair.
Customers simply send a shopping list and Love It and More will provide a tailor made selection and, if required, wrap and tag gifts as well.
Anna said: “Love It and More began as a home party enterprise.
“However, our new website and personal shopping experience will deliver a complete service.
“We have always been inspired by British designers such as Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood, so we wanted to bring a bit of their quirky style to our customers without the huge designer price tag.”
Nicky added: “We were delighted to be chosen to sell British Boxers (designer men’s boxer shorts) which are stocked in many high-end retailers up and down the country – this is just the start of our quest to find the Best of British!
“As we grow our range we’ll be seeking out new British talent in art, crafts and giftware to share with our customers and we’re particularly interested in showcasing local talent.”
The British Boxers range is supplied by Staffordshire Moorlands business DAP Squared Ltd.
Director, Deborah Price commented: “The ladies at Love It and More are flying the flag for the creative industries across the UK whilst helping busy people buy great gifts.
“I’m delighted for our products to be part of their new business venture and wish them both a very successful future.”
