AN MP has praised a charity for ‘helping transform the lives of the country’s most marginalised children’.
Andrew Bridgen, who represents North West Leicestershire for the Tories, spoke after a fact-finding visit to The Children’s Society’s Market Street branch in Ashby.
He said: “It was a great honour to meet volunteers who have been with the shop since it opened 25 years ago.
“Their passion and commitment is an inspiration to us all.
“I’d encourage the community to show its support.”
