WOODVILLE man Sam Worth has been signed by a top London based modelling agency.
The 22-year-old who made it to the final of a competition on ITV’s This Morning to find the nations’s next big male model has just been signed by Models 1, Europe’s leading modelling agency.
Sam told the Mail: “I went to see a couple of agencies and both wanted to sign me so I chose Models 1.
“The meetings were set up by Unsigned Management. I have been doing quite a few castings but have had no work confirmed at the moment.
“On Tuesday I had six appointments and got to meet casting agents and photographers, all in different parts of London.
“One specialised in catwalks at fashion shows which is something I would love to do. I would love to go abroad.”
He added that he was delighted to been offered the contract: “I’m really pleased that I got Models 1 - if you are going to make it they will give you the best chance.”
Models 1 boasts Twilight star Robert Pattison amongst clients on its books.
Sam currently works as a duty manager at Swadlincote Ski and Snowboard Centre two days a week.
He is fitting in his castings between his shifts at the centre.
The aspiring model, who is currently single, was a contestant on the Complete Package, a segment of This Morning hosted by Abi Clancey.
The final of the show was just weeks ago, and though Sam did not win he has not been short of offers after appearing before a national audience.
He only entered the competition on a whim after a friend suggested it to him, and had never considered a career in modelling previously.
The winner of the competition has also been signed to an agency, while the other runner up remains unsigned.
Sam graduated with a 2:1 in Sports Journalism from Staffordshire University and studied A-levels at Ashby School.
