A NEW book which features stories from amateur writers in Burton is now available to read at the town’s library.
Burton Monday Writers’ new anthology ‘Flights of Fancy’ will be free to view for people from across the town at the site off High Street after members presented a copy to staff.
The book contains 16 stories including several efforts which discuss the town and reflect the town’s connection with the brewing industry.
Lynda Turner, from the group said: “The collection includes not only prize-winning stories, but also those produced at the group’s regular Monday workshops.
“Many of the stories have been selected from internal and external competition entries.
“Three stories are Burton based and reflect the town’s connection with the brewing industry.”
Flights of Fancy costs £3.90 and is available in paperback from Waterstones in Coopers Square shopping centre and from online shop Amazon by heading to http://tinyurl.com/okkh6ch
