SOUTH Derbyshire people who want to learn a new skill are being offered a new programme of courses available at an Eco Centre.
From environmental conservation to knitting or weaving, there is a range of qualifications on offer to adults of all ages at Derbyshire County Council’s Eco Centre
Courses include Lantra Level 1, 2 and 3 Certificate in dry stone walling, City and Guilds Level 2 Award in Creative Techniques (knitting or weaving skills), Lantra Level 2 Certificate in Land-based Activities (surveying plants and wildlife), and ASDAN Level 2 Certificate in Community Volunteering.
Courses can run for up to fifteen weeks over one term or as short courses set out over several days or weeks.
