TWO men who robbed two Burton supermarkets have pleaded guilty at crown court.
Ryan Shaw and Jani Wright, both of Birmingham, have pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit robbery in connection with a string of raids across the West Midlands including Burton.
The pair raided the Co-op in Woods Lane, Burton, on Wednesday, March 7 last year and also the Co-op in Church Hill Street, Burton on Friday, June 15.
They will be sentenced at a later date.
Their accomplice Amandeep Singh, also of Birmingham, pleaded not guilty and is set to stand trial on July 9.
The arrests were part of a regional investigation into the robberies dubbed Operation Viper banner.
