A BURTON woman is celebrating winning the jackpot prize on a BBC gameshow.
Louise Colver, from Shobnall, along with former colleague Natasha Skeen, walked off with the £3,000 prize on BBC1’s Pointless.
The show, presented by Alexander Armstrong, sees contestants try to score as few points as possible by plumbing the depths of their general knowledge to come up with the answers no-one else can think of.
The 35-year-old is a learning centre supervisor at the University of Wolverhampton.
She said: “We applied online, went through an audition and then got invited to take part in the show. We went through four rounds and ended up walking away with the trophy and the top prize, which was £3,000.
“I’m planning to use my half of the money to take my family to Disneyland Paris as I promised my two children I’d take them.”
